Our support group is essentially an open meeting designed to help people of all walks of life connect, talk and understand what it's like to walk in each other's shoes. It's about empathy as well as knowledge on the unspoken topics which have been stigmatised for so long. The variety of individuals who attend range from people directly affected by a mental illness to people who simply want to gain knowledge and understanding to help others.

We are not counsellors or health professionals, nor do we wish to take the place of medical support. We are real people who have had real experiences with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health issues. Consequently, we know all too well the feelings of helplessness, as though there is no where to turn and no one to turn to for guidance. We believe in providing a safe platform for people to land their issues without judgement, and without the preconceived notion that everything will be okay. We wholeheartedly believe that it is okay to not be okay, and no one has to walk this path alone. For some this may be a less daunting option prior to seeking professional help, and we wish to help pave their way towards recovery.
